How To Pick Out Fruit (new chart from Shari’s Berries)

While I am in the midst of a blog redesign, please take a look at this new chart Shari’s Berries has shared with me via email. It offers useful advice on how to pick out fresh fruit at the grocery store or farmers’ market. Julissa, Community Outreach for Shari’s Berries, writes:

“Whether you’re shopping for yourself or making a fruity recipe, it can often be tricky to know what to look for in finding that perfect fruit. For some fruits, it’s all about appearance, but for others, appearance can be completely unrelated to whether the fruit is ripe or not!

Using this guide to picking out the tastiest fruit from Shari’s Berries you can easily figure out what to look for when grocery shopping, saving you plenty of time while you browse the aisle. From sniffing near the stem of a pineapple to weighing a lime in your hand, you’ll never doubt yourself again!”
The chart is quite large, so rather than posting it here, I suggest you click on the links Julissa has provided. Here is a snippet of the chart to whet your appetite:

Thanks, Julissa, and thanks, Shari’s Berries!
