Happy Birthday Julia!

I don’t have anything new at the moment, but I couldn’t let the day go by without posting birthday greetings to Julia Child. Today would have been her 102th birthday, and she probably would have been in her kitchen, cooking up something simple and marvelous to celebrate. She defied age and convention, and lived a rich life, full of the people and things she loved, which is why I am inspired by her daily. She was a pioneer in food television as well; there might not even be a Food Network or Cooking Channel without her.

On the anniversary of her 100th birthday, I cooked and blogged Julia Child recipes for 10 days. Now would be a great time to check them out!
