This is a quick fly-by, as I have been busy cooking for our Independence Day dinner. Here’s this week’s CSA Share, smaller than last week. This is to be expected throughout the season, as growth rates and harvests fluctuate with the weather. There’s still plenty from last week, and because the vegetables are so fresh, they last longer in the refrigerator. This week’s share is swiss chard, kale, lettuce, salad mix, arugula, scallions, and the last of the peas.
And now, for something completely different: our July 4th dessert! Thank you Food52!
