THANK you!! It was so luscious. Honestly, I’m not usually a big frosting fan. I prefer a nice moist cake and this one could definitely have stood it’s ground “bare beamed and buck….” In fact, I’m thinking a dark chocolate ganache and some chopped, toasted hazelnuts is all it would need. This is going to be a good recipe for the little one to try on her first baking outing – maybe even the big one, for a change of pace.
